Hi friends! I recently stumbled upon a soft egg in my coop today! It was laid my my oldest hen, a Buff Orphington.
I’m extremely intrigued by everything about birds and want to become an avian related vet one day. I was wondering if I could preserve this egg because it is my first encounter with them, it was laid by a hen very special to me, (she’s the last from my first flock), and lastly I love the art of preservation.
I was thinking maybe a pickle or possibly draining it out on cleaning the skin?
I know this is a really weird and probably isn’t a cite that’d give me some answers, but if you have anything to add to this topic please drop something below!
(The egg is thickly skinned with no punctures. Still in the same shape as a normal egg, just soft)
