Question

Coworker says his eggs are going missing. He had 6 eggs under one of his hens now she only has one egg left. No egg shells anywhere. Could a chicken snake be eating them? No evidence that the eggs missing are anywhere in the run or nest.

Could be a snake, but once they have eaten the egg they usually curl up somewhere to digest it - what about rats? They will roll eggs right out of the nest.
Set up a trail cam....

I know I lost an entire clutch of American Buff geese eggs to rat snakes this spring while she was incubating them. So I wouldn't put it past them.
