My duck keeps open and closing her mouth, and not making noise while she does it, although she does make noise other than that. Idk if this is a normal duck behaviour or if it is something I should be worried about. She does eat and drink, and otherwise acts normal. I feel like I need a list of normal duck behaviour and not normal duck behavior lol

Could she be panting from being too warm?

It's not very warm so I dont think it's that

No it's like shes just opening her mouth for a second and then closes it

Could she be too warm? is it like panting? If she is acting normal other wise just keep an eye on her.

can you go near your ducks easily? If you can, Make sure her nares arent plugged

I don't think so it's about 60ish and the vet said that's the temp it should be at least. Shes acting fine besides her bleeding wing now

My Sugarbaby was doing that last night, but i think it was because she tried gobbling down dogfood w/o water. I caught her, took her to the water bowl, and when she tried to drink some water she opened her bill and closed it a few times after each drink. She's fine though, i watched to make sure she wasn't blocked.

Speedy does that sometimes too and I think shes trying to catch dust or something flying around that I dont see.
