hi, we are new to this chicken deal, but loving it. we have chicks in coop, about 2.5 weeks old, when can they go out of the coop into the fenced in area. thanks

Depends on the temperature. If it is above 70 and no wind, open the coop door and let them decide if they are ready.

x2 My chicks went out at about two weeks. Some ventured out the first day, while others just looked out and waited a few days. By the end of the fourth day they were all outside in their little run. Make sure your fenced in area is fenced with wire they can't fit through, and watch overhead if this area isn't covered so that they aren't hawk food.
