Can I incubate eggs that have been in 35-40 degree weather for about 3 hours or do I need to get the eggs immediately when my hens lay them? They lay their eggs at 4 am.

I have no problem hatching eggs that were sitting out in those conditions. I do place them on the egg turner for a day or 2 to let them acclimate slowly to the warmer temperature prior to placing them in the incubator.

So I should have them at room temperature for a few days? And my incubator is a coalstove :P sitting them in a basket beside it. Keeps it at 100 degrees exactly.
