Question!?

We have a 1 acre piece of land, and I was wondering if I get a rooster and have him in a coop for about a week and let him free range, will he leave or will he stay!?

At least a week maybe a little more, are there already hens, are you adding him to an existing flock. If adding him to an existing flock you could let him out right away. He won't leave those hens.
