One of my hens had 12 chicks, 2 died and 10 lived... There about 6 months old and the dad is starting to be aggressive towards the cockerels. Will he kill them if I coop them up at night?

Hello and Welcome To BYC! Sooner or later they will probably start fighting (the chicks amongst themselves also) depending on the breed and the individuals you could very well wind up with hurt or dead birds... especially if they are locked up where the loser can't get away.

Kelsie X2 You will probably need to rehome all these cockerels and keep only one of them. Roosters fight. Rarely do they all get along. This is their nature.

Rehome any extra roosters unless you are going to keep them penned up separately. Roosters
can be furious with others and either mutilate them badly or kill them.

Welcome to BYC - for a variety of reasons too many cockerels/roosters in the flock is not a good idea.

Some people rehome and others send them to freezer camp .....
