My hens have been laying for about 3 weeks now but have been on medicated chick starter since I was trying to get rid of the bag, I just switched them to layer feed yesterday but I bought a broody hen today, I was planning on putting my hens eggs underneath since they are fertilized by my rooster, my question is can the eggs still hatch even though there mother was eating medicated feed

They should but if your roo is as young as your hens, he may not be fertile yet. Have you checked eggs for fertility?

I haven't checked the eggs if there fertile yet but I have a feeling they should be fertile because when he first tried to mount them he dident get it quite right and shot some white liquid that dripped off my hens butt feathers so I'm guessing that would be the semen

I still would check an egg or two before you put a hen to task like that. Brooding is a hard job!
