That comb says not Dominique...BR or CM.

Hrm... actually that doesn't look like a Barred Rock comb. That's definitely a sex-link comb. I'd say you have a male black Sex-link.

They are gorgeous birds when they mature! Here's a photo of one (sorry to whoever's bird this is, he's too pretty to not link!):

Okay, maybe it isn't as old as I originally thought, but still not a BR or a Dom. Wrong leg color for the BR, and wrong comb for the Dom. Although, they could be 'goof' traits for either. I would stick by it being a pullet. Nothing rooish about that bird at all to me.
