Do you think this poo warrents a Corrid treatment? There are any 8 chicks in the brooder together. Not all have this kind of looking poo but hard to tell who is doing what for certain. They are 4-6 weeks old. Acting normally otherwise. They are on medicated feed and I did add probiotics and nutridrench to their water when I first noticed it.

How are your chicks doing now? Still having weird poos? My flock has largely always free ranged, but when I moved them to a new coop this winter and they were locked inside for 2-3 weeks eating only feed and no forage, several of them started laying orangish poo. If they are still doing well as of today, I wouldn't worry! Coccidiosis poos are typically very bloody.

They all seem to be fine other than the weird orangey poo, some have normal poo and some are a bit watery. I've just started to let them in the yard a bit each day and they are all having a ball chasing each other over earthworms and any bug they can find.

It's normal for at least one poo a day to be very watery, since chickens don't urinate. I would venture to guess the orange poo may be a result of something in the feed.

Was that dark red/brown blob in the bottom of the pic also poo?

No, that was an acorn or rock or something. :)

My adult girls sometimes do poop just like this. It is normal as they clean their bowel out with poop like this.
