Hello fellow feather loving friends!
I am in need of some assistance... we have 5 silver laced Wyandottes 4 are for sure hens, they’re squatting, laying and doing hen things. I have one bird however that looks like a rooster but is super “un-roostery”. It hasn’t crowed, won’t mount any squatting hens (even if they squat in front of him/her) and sits in the nesting boxes and nests.
I’ve tried looking at the saddle feather but I honestly am not super sure what to look for... she/he has a rather pronounced comb but literally does nothing that roosters are supposed to do.
I should note that my birds are a week or two shy of 6 months.
Below there’s a picture of two of my ladies Zorro and Buckbeak and then Sid... my questionable rooster.

I really appreciate the insight, thank you!

It is very common to see single combs with wyandottes even though it isn't the correct comb type.
Even some of the well known breeders breed them into their lines. Its not just hatchery birds.
