Is 100.2 degrees o.k. or should I try to decrease the temp a wee bit? I tried removing the vent plug, but the humidity only decreased from 76% to 74% and the temp remained steady at 100.2... Gee whiz, I don't think I worried nearly this much in the last weeks of my own two pregnancies!!! I suppose because I "housed" my children in my own belly and could feel them move around and such, I felt less "out of control"...than I do with these wee peeps...? We only locked down 2/8, also, so I'm still feeling a bit down and disappointed about the 6 eggs I had to dispose of... Can anyone reassure me that my temp and humidity are o.k. and, if not, can anyone offer any suggestions? Thanks from an anxious chick mama

hi, all i can tell you is mine are zipping and my temp is 100 to 101.5 back and forth.my humidity has been from 75 to 80% and they are doing fine so far. i think 70 to 75% would be better but, i put alittle too much water in mine lol. my bator is a little giant still air. hope this helps, good luck with your hatch!

Thanks...I guess 100.2 must be o.k. then. I can't believe how anxious I've been about these little guys - today is day 20 (set on April 19th) and nothing is happening yet - it's making me worry! I wonder how I'll be, some day, when my daughter is pregnant...? (well...hopefully only in another 7 or 8 years - she's 16 now..)
