I have 7 chicks I got from TSC and I was told 3 of them are Blue Laced Barnevelders but after looking at chick pictures online I’m starting to question if they are actually the breed I was told? They’re about 11 days old. All help much appreciated 😁

Looks like Barred Plymouth Rock, feed store's wouldn't have blue laced Barnevelders. At least not until the breed is more common.
That is false my feed store sold silver laced barndvelender their not common ether.

Looks like Barred Plymouth Rock,

I agree.

And I think the one in a photo by itself is male--the males have more white in their barring, which shows up from a really early age. That one has a LOT of white, relative to many others that I've seen. (I'm not guessing about the gender of the others because I can't see them well enough.)

You cant be so sure she has to wait 6-8 weeks.
Feedstores are carrying Blue Sexlinks more and more lately. In those crosses, males are blue barred and females are just blue, all these appear to be blue barred... I am not aware of any mix commonly stocked that has blue barred females. Time will tell though, this is just what I suspect

I wonder if you got male Blue Sexlinks.... 😬 They're known by a few different names, but Sapphire Gem is a common one

I thought I was seeing black chicks, not blue ones--probably my computer is showing the photos differently than yours is. If they are blue, I agree they would be Blue Sexlink males, for the same reasons you gave: that's the most common kind of blue + barred chicken, and only the males would have the barring.

You may be right. To me they look more blue, but yeah, if they're black I agree that Barred Rock would be likely! :)
