I have my coop on a Timer set to turn on @ 4am and off @ 7am... We just started this a few days ago, hope to have some eggs again soon.

Because of our cold climate I have a heat lamp on so they have light 24/7 and I have been doing that for five going on six years. I have a fully insulated coop and keep 20-25 chickens. Last year I switched to a red heat lamp and my production fell so I will be going back to a clear heat lamp this year.
