Yeah, Curious has a lot of bare spots. He was already sporting some on his shoulders when we picked him out of the brooder. So, I guess I have to wait a couple weeks, then to let him roam under supervision?

It depends on what your temperature is. If the sun is shining with temps in the 60's or above you could let the chick out for a little bit. With supervision. I set mine outside the coop today when it was over 60 degrees but it was windy and he wanted back in pretty quick.
My broody hen took her chicks out at 3 weeks on a calm 40 degree day but I didn't let her keep them out long.
