Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.

I have two hens that I hatched myself. I got the eggs that I hatched from different people around my neighborhood. My hens just started laying about a week ago and I was wondering if it would be safe to eat the eggs. I don't know if they need the vaccinations from the factories to be safe to lay eating eggs. I also haven't wormed them. Will this have any affect?
