I have a pekin female who decided she wanted to be a momma (I was under the impression pekins did not do this) Anyway sometime last month she hoarded up about 19 eggs!
Yesterday they started hatching, as of today she is walking around with 12 little babies following her. She left 7 eggs on the nest. One is cracked and I can see baby breathing and making peeping noise... but she is not going back to the nest...
should I help this baby hatch? does it not still need to stay warm ?? What should I do ???
