Questions about lionhead rabbits

So i bought two lionhead rabbits from a feed and ranch store and one of them is a lot bigger than the other. So im just wondering if there is anything i can do to help her gain some weight

Purchase a high quality rabbit pellet. Offer treats, especially after handeling. Our lionheads really like Mini-wheats and carrots as treats. The mini-wheats do contain sugar, so we limit it to two a day. I also give them Timothy Hay daily.

Okay ill try that. Im not sure if she is younger than her sister and thats why she is smaller. Thank you!

That would make sense. If the smaller one seems healthy and is eating and drinking it's probably nothing to worry about. Do you have any pics?
For show rabbits ARBA has the following specifications:
Senior Buck & Does - 6 months of age and over, not over 3 3/4 pounds.
Junior Bucks & Does- Under 6 months of age, not over 3 1/2 pounds. Minimum weight 1 pound 10 oz.

Since i did just get them should they be wormed or anything? Im new to the lionheads.

I have never dewormed my rabbits. I know some places do once or twice a year. There is a paste called Panacur, but it is made for horses and has to be adjusted in dose for rabbits. I am not comfortable giving such medicine to my rabbits. There are also different kinds of worms, so you could treat for one type and they could have the other. I would keep on eye on the rabbit feces and if something looks strange take a sample to a vet.

Lionheads are one of the dwarf breeds. so it's possible that your smaller rabbit has the dwarfing gene, and her larger sibling doesn't. If that's the case, then the larger one may wind up oversized per the ARBA breed standard.
