Ok - So ive never really had to quarintine a duck before - unless injured but that was different. Im getting two large scovie hens tommorrow ... but dont know the best way to quarintine them. I have a smaller pen that is set up inside of my main pen, seperating the animals by a line of rat wire. Is that enough?? My perm flock would have run of five acres durring the day but would be in the main pen at night, but the new girls most likely will be in the little run the entire time unless i put them in a corral out in the grass durring the day. Them flying off isnt a problem since they are quiet.... chunky.
Anyway - These guys have been vet checked and everything so I dont think id need to quarintine them longer than it would take for the flock to get used to them.
