I decided to keep Khaki Campbell ducks for their egg production, and have 1 drake and 5 hens. They are now 21 weeks old. I began to find 1 egg in their duck house each morning for the past week or so.

Do you think there is just 1 duck who began to lay earlier than her sisters? Or is it more likely that they're taking turns?

When do you think I can begin to expect an egg from each of them daily?

I've begun closing them into their duck house each night & letting them out at about 8-9 AM. Would they be likely to lay after that time?

They've already proven their worth in entertainment value alone, but we're all looking forward to having more tasty duck eggs. Please let me know what you think.

we have 4 female khaki's, 2 female rouens, 1 rouen that is a drake and 2 khaki campbells that are drakes. We are getting the same things with our duck eggs. We get one egg before 6:30 though.

Ours were bought in April/May when they were 2 weeks old. So I hope to soon have more duck eggs also.
