i am on day 38 and i have a few questions

i have one egg in my incubator
96.5 and 35% ish humidity
ive been turning 5 times each day
i am worried because so far when i put my egg on a table and tap and talk to and stuff i dont see any movement..
is this normal or should i be seeing something..i only leave the egg out for no longer than 2 or three minutes at a time tho so i dont know if thats long enough
also, i can defintely tell where the air cell is because it is cooler than the rest of the egg but my concern is that it cools off too much too fast. i am wondering of that means its a dud..but the rest of the egg stays warm for a long time
and lastly, is it recommended to do a float test, and if so, when?
i think ive done everything right thus far but the egg was shipped so you never know...

any info would be great!

Just wait.. It will come when its ready. quit turning on day 45 or so
Mine will come and go with the rocking , is it dead is it alive? by day 49-50 It may start to chirp to you when you tap or talk to it. When and if it talks to you it should pip in 12-24 hours and may take another 3-8 hours to get all the way out. Good luck with your hatch
