questions for those with Bachelor pads

I need to make a bachelor pad to keep my spare roos in. If I attach their run next to the yard with the girls in will they fight cause they can see the girls but not get to them?

My roosters free range and can run around the hens run, but for the most part they ignore the girls, unless one squalks. When they run around the hens run they ignore each other and focus on the hens. About the only time they get mad at each other is treat time and if you don't give both the same treats at the same time.
