Questions. Help please

I presume the goose would eat the seed as well? It's not normally something they can get to when it's growing out of the ground.
I just give them the sprouts. Mine aren't especially tame, so I don't hang around. As for eating the seed, the seed perishes in producing the plant. The roots are available to eat if they choose.
 
I gave him a tub of fodder today! It was only maybe an inch tall, but I wanted to see if he liked I before I start the other 2 tubs. He did give it the side eye for a few minutes, but then he tried some and decided that he loved it. He is a silly bird. I started some more fo him. Is it ok to give to him when the sprouts are still small? It has taken about 5 days to get them just an inch tall. Do you mean organic potting soil? I'll have to try that, thanks for the tip.
