I've got two pairs that I'm starting with. Two of them seem to be getting friendly and I'm curious if I can just let nature take it's course or should I build breeding boxes and keep those two separate? I have two small boxes that are open top and a ledge on the front but they are very basic. Not sure if these will be enough. I'll try to get some photos today to show what I'm talking about. I see other folks having babies hatch and I just wonder how to get the ball rolling.

I would just let nature take its course on which pairs mate together. Unless you have a hen and a cock that you know are both great racers then pair them together. Also, lock in boxes are great. They can really come in handy. Does this answer your qeustion? Good advice above.
I don't have any real history on these birds. I won't really try to race until next year. I guess I'll just let the birds and the bees sort it all out.
