Sheez, you must have like a hundred chickens! My Dad had an adopted Great Pyr, he was a great guard dog. No one tried to break in, or otherwise come in unannounced. If I had a choice, I would get a CO. (Central Asian Ovtcharka). Best flock/herd guard dogs. They were bred to take down bears and wolves. A coyote would be nothing to them. (I have coyotes where I live). As well as foxes, possums, raccoons, snakes, hawks, owls, loose dogs and stray/feral cats. However, I do have neighbors, (despite living in the country) and they would complain, for COs do tend to bark, and they are HUGE dogs. A male can get up to 200+lbs. I have seen it. But I digress, would it be possible for me to make a coop like yours or just possibly add windows to mine and use the run I had planned for mine??
