Okay so about 2 years ago I bought some 'Ameraucana' chicks from a breeder. I was just starting out, didn't know much about chickens. It was a rooster and a hen. The rooster had Muffs, the hen didn't. The hen laid bright, wonderful blue eggs.

Well after I got on here, and now that I'm more informed I know now that my flock of Ameraucanas are EE's.

Well I was curious one day. On the actual colors of Ameraucanas. So I looked them up. Much to my surprise, both my hen and my rooster are Actual Ameraucana colors!

Sadly I lost the rooster a few months ago. The hen is still one of the farm favorites.

Is it possible that my Supposed EE's are actual Ameraucanas? Or pretty close? I purchased 5 more chicks from the breeder last month, but 2 were lost in a hurricain.

I actually think that the guy has actual Ameraucanas and EE's. So I am getting very close to the actual things. There may be a chance that I may get some full Ameraucanas. I am excited. And I plan on buying up a bunch from him on sunday if he is at the fair again.

I mean, he is selling chicks for $1! And they lay pure blue eggs. So I suppose even if i just get them laying then sell them again. I would make a profit. Anyway. I just wanted to see if anyone has any ideas on if perhaps he could have both real Ameraucanas and EE's. Or I'm just crazy and got lucky with a blue egg laying EE.

Where do you live?? who is this breeder?! I'm trying to find Americaunas or EE's, no one near chicagoland has them

I'm not sure where he is from. But I find him at a animal fair in waterloo Illinois.

If your looking for EE's. I have some nice ones that I sell hatching eggs from.

What is your minimum of eggs that you sell? Would you sell them as day old chicks, or not? and how much is shipping?!?! I'm very interested!

No that is not him. I know the Rooster in my Avatar is an EE.
