Questions on Pekins

This is cupcake. Im pretty sure its a boy. Its about 7 weeks or more, still "purring" and chirping. The kids insit on its name still remaining cupcake. My question though is abojt his black feathers on the top of its head. I thought at first it may be dirt, when i got a closer look theyre actual sporadic feathers. Maybe its a mixed breed? Any ideas??

Yes im sure. I tried to scrub them with my fingers while he had a bath today. Theyre just a few coming in.

Looks like a Muscovy to me, not a Pekin, although I've never owned either so I could be wrong. Very cute

X2, that is a little muscovy and could be a boy or girl since they don't make the same sounds as other ducks.

Cupcake is a Muskove. Pekins don't have that little hook on the end of their bill.
