So I’ve already settled that I’m going to be getting equimax to deworm my flock of tapes but I have some other questions about worming chickens that I wonder about...
I keep seeing websites saying ACV and garlic gets rid of worms but is this just a wives tale? Or does it really work?

Wives tale.

Figured! Although I’m sure it does at least help boost the immune system unless that’s a lie too!
It's misinformation is what it is. If you provide your birds with quality chicken feed and clean fresh water, you really dont need that extra stuff. Take a look at your feed sack and read what vitamins and minerals are contained in the feed.
Manufacturers of chicken feed have spent millions of dollars testing and analyzing proper nutrient ingredients in poultry feed for years.
Too good of a certain thing can be just as bad for their health. You've heard that saying before, I'm sure.
As long as your birds are eating, drinking, and otherwise acting like a chicken should, who needs extra supplements?
