questions re treats

my pullets are just 9 weeks old and while I've given some treats, I've noticed they are very picky. Perhaps its just that they are too young or maybe I have a lot of vegetarians, lol. I tried an ear of fresh corn. They totally ignored this. However, they love canned corn. Kale seems to be a favorite, cabbage on the other hand is not. Only a few will eat the freeze dried meal worms. Watermelon and cantaloupe is obviously wonderful, they dive in!!

give them time, they'll figure it out. Tastes change also, my chicks went absolutely nuts for garden worms but as adults they were not even interested in them(so much for my worm bin).

My girls are 3 months and I try out a new treat every day to see what they like.

Likes: dandylion leaves, grass (short), clovers, lettuce, worms (sometimes), ants
Won't touch: watermelon, strawberries, FD mealworms, bananas


going to try yogurt and scrambled egss today.
