I would have to agree with Bargin. I actually stopped hatching Marans because I suck at it. I have had two bad Marans hatchs my first was 6 of Bargin's eggs and only one hatched. The two other pipped and died and the other 3 quit in the end I followed what was on the sticky plus it worked with my mutts.(Bargin I did get a nice looking roo though) My second hatch it was recomended I do the dry hatch, yeah that didnt work either, Out of 18 eggs I only got two chicks and had to help both. They were sticky and starting to dry out. I am going to try Marans again when my girls start to lay. This not to start a debate or anything like that. We all have to remember we all have our own opinions, which doesnt make the others wrong.
