Questions regarding trouble hatching BCM eggs

I would have to agree with Bargin. I actually stopped hatching Marans because I suck at it. I have had two bad Marans hatchs my first was 6 of Bargin's eggs and only one hatched. The two other pipped and died and the other 3 quit in the end I followed what was on the sticky plus it worked with my mutts.(Bargin I did get a nice looking roo though) My second hatch it was recomended I do the dry hatch, yeah that didnt work either, Out of 18 eggs I only got two chicks and had to help both. They were sticky and starting to dry out. I am going to try Marans again when my girls start to lay. This not to start a debate or anything like that. We all have to remember we all have our own opinions, which doesnt make the others wrong.

Oh no, friends, I don't want a debate...discussion is great but not the kind where I go

..Do you think since Copper King's flock has been raised in the humid southeast since direct importation from France.....And I can certain say really humid southeast with our record floodings that this has perpetrated the need for humidity. In the case of this strain of BCM's, there was no adaptation time it was from moist to moist if I'm following and understanding adaptation.

The southeast is just historically humid and I live where even on sunny days, on many days, clothes hung up at 7:00 am are not dry by 7:00 pm.... Sometimes I bring them in at dusk more wet than when I hung them up... no kidding....anyway back to the BCM's,
Once they are out of the shell - again on their own (not assisted by me), they are immensely healthy and for that I'm soo grateful

Anyway, I think we've all talked about this on another posting on humidity and that's why I didn't want to bring it up in the public realm.....Y'all know me....I'm such an open book....The only secret I have is that I love my critters, and oops that wasn't much of a secret
