First question- When will my chickens start roosting and start sorting out the pecking order.They are 8 weeks old and the roosters still sleep on the floor and only a few of the hens will roost.

Second question- My goose is laying eggs now. How long will they keep not refrigerated if I do not clean the coating off them? Does this time also apply to chicken eggs?

Mine usually won't go to roost until they are a little older, about 14-15 weeks old or so-- some will sooner. I had one rooster who still preferred to sleep on the floor until he was about 8 months old.​
