I was wondering, when chicks hatch in an incubator, do we need to leave them in there till all chicks hatch? If so, what if some don't hach till a day or 2 later? What if they are a little later then that? Are we aloud to open the incubator to remove the chick? With the octagon 20 incubator, do you have to remove the bars between the eggs when hatching begins?

I am definitely no expert, a newbie 2. I did go through 2 hatches though. I go ahead and remove the chicks to the brooder after 24 hours. I quickly do it and make sure to add very warm water to the bator afterwards. Humidity doesn't drop that much. I have a Hovabator and it seems to work very well. I am not very familiar with your incubator so maybe someone else will be of more help.
