Quick advice, please...Induce vomitting??

Just a short time ago, my daughter found our chickens eating Ion Exchange Resin Beads. Think polymer beads, I think. Should we induce vomitting?? And if we should...how/what is simplest way to do that? And do we need to follow up with something else?

Oh...if it helps/matters. These are the beads found in the walls of a water softener. We had an old one sitting in a barn. (Evidently the softener had frozen & burst this past winter.) Barn door must have got left open. It's closed & cleaned up somewhat now.

There's no good way to make a chicken vomit without risk of aspiration. I think I would just wait and watch. Good luck!

Thanks...called (human Poison Control Center. I learned something new. They no longer induce vomiting in any situation in humans according to the lady there. I guess should not surprise me perhaps.
