Quick egg WTH

My oldest flock normally lays their eggs in the nest box's everyday. Well, yesterday their out ranging & I noticed one girl hunched over & thought well she's fix-in to poop. Usually, the girls take forever in the boxes to lay their eggs. Sure enough no poop but out pops an egg. I think she would of made the guinness book record on how fast she layed that egg.

It's happened to one of my Leghorns also! She was running after the rest of the flock, then she stopped, laid her egg and continued running.

I had a hen who used to wander into the middle of the road and lay on egg on the yellow line. My neighbor would shoo her out of the road and collect the egg!

I have a hen who has never laid an egg in a nest box in her life! Always just in the middle of the barn aisle, in the yard, on a table top, wherever!!

I just got my first egg this morning and found it laying in the middle of our misting patio for the ducks! LOL The LF usually never go into the concreted misting patio, but apparently she thought it was a great place to lay an egg!

I really just posted this because the girls usually spend atleast an hour in their nest boxes before ever laying an egg. This girl hunched over & bam it was done. Kinda, strange because they normally always lay in the boxs. It made me wonder why she did this. Maybe, it had been stuck in her & all the sudden it had to come out. Who knows? Weird.
