Quick genetics question!

So my rooster is a RIRX Blue Orpington:

Now to the question... if I cross him with a Golden Laced Wyandotte... what would be some possible outcomes?

ETA: The hen beside him in the first pic is blinking there is nothing wrong with her eye

I don't think that rooster is a cross between a Blue Orp and a RIR. That cross should give you a solid black or solid blue chicken. There will likely be some leakage but nothing like that red. Are you sure it wasn't a Lavender Orp?

The dad was 100% a blue Orpington and the mom was a Rhode Island Red, maybe not a pure RIR but I’m pretty sure she was. Thank you!

He likely has one copy of Wheaten from the RIR (hence the large amount of red throughout his plumage), with Extended Black or Birchen from the Orp. He has Mahogany single factor, colombian single factor, blue single factor.

Your Wyandotte hen ought to be Partridge based and have Colombian, Lacing, and Melanisers, as well as Rose-comb.

The offspring could get any of these genes,. Note that whichever base e-series they receive from Dad (so either Wheaten or Birchen) will likely override the hens' as partridge is recessive to both of these and doesn't leak through so much.

Curious; no idea where that could have come from as neither parent ought to possess it. With that in mind, if it is true lacing, you could see some laced offspring from him, though remember that as he only has a single copy of any of the genes listed above, you will get a wide variety of offspring. Try plugging him into the chicken calculator
