Quick hatch?

Ok I took him out and just sliced it a little. He started chirping so I put him back quick

I generally keep picking away at the shell a bit throughout the day. A little at a time. Since it's pipped itself you can do much damage as long as there's no blood and you don't remove it too quickly. Some eventually come out on their own and some require a bit of help.
