If these are chicken eggs I wouldn't mist them. The humidity in the bator should be enough. You put wax over the cracks which will hold in the moisture as if it never happened. The only problem you may have is if bacteria has entered the egg. I personally think, now, I've only hatched 1 batch in bator,and 1 under a broody (yesterday and today actually with the boody), that if you mist the eggs you could allow bacteria to enter through the pores of the shell. That's just my opinion though. BTW, my DH cracked 2 of my eggs while turning them in the bator and I waxed mine. I believe either 1 lived or both. I do know that one made it, and it was early on like yours. I hope this helps!!! And good luck!
