Quick Help Please

Get an incubator if possible.

If you want to fake one you can but no matter how you fake one you will have to watch it constantly.
Will you be able to get a thermometer?

A box and a clippy lamp with a regular light bulb can work.

A styrofoam ice chest.

A heating pad.

A MUST is calibrated thermometer.
Over heating is extremely easy thing to do and it will kill the eggs.

Take a few eggs into a dark room and shine your phone light into the air cell and see if you see movement.

put a lining in the bottom of the crock pot so it's not a slippery surface, put a small dish of water in there and add the eggs in,leaving small lift to get air in there, you will have to manually turn them at least 3 times a day minimum, and leave lid on with one edge slightly elevated, until lock down at Day 17-18 lay a paper towel over the eggs not dripping wet just warm damp, and wait for hatch

What Do I turn the crockpot on to Warm?

I want to thank everyone for their quick help last evening. Sad news Potato's remains were found today by my oldest son. I started with the crock pot method and moving them to an incubator this evening. My daughter found her old one and it seems to work just need to run to WalMart and get new thermometer. There were a total of 18 eggs removed from the nest. 1 was a goner. 1 was edible 1 I cracked open (which I Cried) 2 we have to check in couple of days and the rest looked good. I am thankful my daughter is helping me. She use to start her babes from eggs. Potato was out of her last run. Will let everyone know what end results will be. Granny Hatchet thank you for the extra reading. Thank God these babies only have to wait up to 21 days or a little over, not 40 weeks LOL. I hope I have 2 or 3 that look like their momma cause I am going to miss my Gal.
