Quick nestbox question

My nestboxes are 16 inches from the bottom of the coop. Will I need to add a ramp for the girls to get into them (once they are old enough to lay) or will they jump up on their own? Thanks for any advise you all may have.

Nope, but they would probably like a walkway to land on in case the box they want is in use

Looks like you got good ledge the for them to reach so they should have no problem ,but the ramp would work just avoid any crasheswhen they all jump for the same box

.

I they were mine I'd add a walkway (mounted out a bit from the boxes) and a 1"x4" lip across the bottom to hold litter inside. They like to check out the nest from the outside before choosing!
