I use an exfoliating loofah type glove. It feels pretty rough, but I'm used to it. The kind I have goes on like a glove, and I replace it every week or two. It never seems to get gross, as long as you let it dry out after each shower.I just hang it up. I actually replace it because it starts to get kind of frazzled, as opposed to getting gross. I use a back scrubber on my back. I love it, feels like someone is scratching your back. Really exfoliates too. I'm all about removing dead skin!

However, I don't use any of those on my face. I use an exfoliating scrub for that.
Here's pics of what I use:

natural bristle back scrubber - the kind that you can remove the long handle from and has a strap on the back for in-hand use.

I *hate* the plastic squishy things, something about the texture and how the plastic net rubs together when you hold it creeps me out.

loofahs tend to lose their texture fairly quickly.

washcloths get mildewy and stink.

hands work too.

and generally shampoo, not soap. soap makes my skin prickle when I dry off.

I know, I know, all kinds of little weird here. but hey, it's MY bath.
