When feeding your chickens treats do most just throw it on the ground or put it in something?

Doesn't really matter in my opinion, I guess just whichever you prefer...

I give mine cracked corn and they couldn't care less weither its on the ground, in a bowl, or in my hand. They just want it!!!!

Mine get an occasional treat of day old (okay sometimes week old) bread from the Mrs. Bairds outlet feed bread assortment bag (tall kitchen sized garbage liner full for only $2.00!) They don't care where it goes as long as they get to eat it but one had better count the number of fingers left on each hand when "treat time" is over! This is the ONE treat they will take directly from my hands without hesitation! But like I said they sometimes get the fingers in their excitement. The little bit of scratch they get goes on the ground and sometimes I miss and actually hit the large treat bowl, and sometimes the waterer and occasionally the nest box roof and... You get the idea....

i put it on the ground it all goes back to the dirt eventually lol
