Hen went broody yesterday. How long do I have to get some eggs under her? Thinking of ordering some eggs.

If she is really broody, and a good mama, you should have plenty of time to get some eggs shipped and hatched under her. I's make sure she stays on the nest 24/7 for a couple of days before spending my money. She should only get up once, probably when you're not looking, to eat, drink and poop. I wouldn't move the food; she needs the little exercise she gets. Mine have always stayed broody for a few weeks -- or a bunch of weeks -- past the 3 weeks it takes to hatch, if there were no chicks.
