I have built my own incubator, and im wondering if what ive done will interfere with the incubation.

instead of using a light for heat, Ive ligned floor and side walls with a waterbed heater.

my heat is locked between 98.9 and 100.3, been there for 6 hours and only hits 101 if I leave the viewing light on to long.

my humidity level is at 50 percent ,

is this a bad heat source or a good one?????

thanks

It sounds good to me, but I am new at this and have never built an incubator. Hopefully someone with some more knowledge will give you an answer. Good Luck.

thats where my question is, its nothing more than a set of heat strips. and im thinking that with the air movement, and moisture present, if ittll work over time or melt down...
