Quick Question-Cortunix

What is the correct pronouniciation of Cortunix? I've always said it like core tune ix. Is that correct? I had someone tell me that was wrong and they said something like cort nix. Anyone know?

I've been pronouncing it coh-TUR-nix. (I tried to spell that as phonetically as I could.

I think I've been spelling it wrong too. The ebay auctions I see say cortunix and I think it's actualy coturnix. UGH! Now I'm confused...I see both spellings used. Which one is right?

I also say CO-TUR-NIX, though I've seen that it can be pronounced with the 'nix' part said as 'nee'. One thing I saw said it was pronounced like the name 'Courtney'.

Yep said just like its' spelled but the

CO is mor of a "Kha"
