Quick question on food

Hi quick question is "wild" bird food safe for quail eg if i get one them fat/seed/mealworm balls for birds over winter is that safe for quail as like a once a year treat ball thing while its cold weather (upto now had quail pellets and mealworm/dried mealworm)

Are you asking about the product you linked to, or a different one?

The linked one is terribly high in fat, and far too low in protein. But my real concern is the lack of variety in the ingredients. 4 ingredients, none of which I would consider optimal for a quail.

The above was an example and this ontop there normal feed and veg etc

Lol ok its more a thing is it "safe" to eat suet/suet mixes for them as boost in fats for winter weight
