Hi quick question is it normal for jap quail to lay eggs in one/two areas what i noticed over last few months is since laying eggs the 2 quail i have seem to lay eggs in back corners of the pen poop on back wall floor and then eat drink at front where trays are sleeping in mid/sides of pens
Do they normally have areas or are mine just in genral "organized" (like instead of all over pen they keep areas for when they having eggs/poop)

It's not abnormal for them to lay in areas where they feel comfortable/sheltered (why so many people find eggs in the sandbox in a wire floor setup). In my setup, all of my girls lay in only 3 spots, each has a favorite hiding place that is "theirs", and they all generally poop right next to the door .

Yes, they will generally choose their spots to lay.
