Quick run set up ideas needed

Just wanted to say thank you again for the idea of the playpen. It worked great. I couldn't put the chicks outside until late in the afternoon cuz the neighbors had their dog loose and she would kill them in a minute. Since they weren't behind an actual fence and they have zero control over her, I waited until they put her in and left. But they did wonderfully and had a good time.

The only problem was getting them back out again. In the fence I just walked in there with them and picked them up. With this if I lifted it up to get one they would either escape or run to the back where I couldn't reach them. So I just took it off and gave them a treat, then when they went to eat it I just picked them up. No problem. Hopefully it will always be that easy, although I don't plan on ever being able to free range them. They've only had treats for 2 days, so I'm also hoping they'll learn that treats mean to come running and hands are good in case we ever do need to get them for something.
