The scariest part of the Blair Witch Project for me was near the end... when the one guy was standing in the corner wearing the plaid jacket. To this day I can't walk from my kitchen to the hallway after everyone has gone to bed (which I have to pass the family room) and look in the dark farthest corner without running... I just look straight ahead an run!

Good to know. The trailers looked good, but figured it the best part of the movie.

I thought Blair Witch was very creepy, but have never been able to put it all together. Was very disappointed that BWP 2 was unrelated and dumb.

Another franchise I liked was, "Wrong Turn", great cannibal family.

I don't watch a lot of scary movies, but Silence of the Lambs, at least at the time it was in the theaters was pretty scary. I went alone to see it and at one place screamed out loud. Not sure it would have the same impact on a TV screen though, or even if it would have the same impact today. We tend to laugh at what we thought scary years ago.
