Quick, where's the aspirin?

So, my brother, his wife, "my sister" and 3 children
lost ALL their worldly possessions in a fire. My family
and I am SO thankful to have each other. We have
decided not to buy presents for each other. The
PRESENCE of each other is all we need. However,
I HAVE to get the children something, and it has
been the best time finding things for them.
By the way, it was my brother who got me
into the chicken thing. Man, do I love him!

Not going to be able to do anything for it, but if I could afford to start drinking I thik I would.

I'll be glad when this year is done too. I've battled a hip replacement, pain med addiction, daughter going through, and being treated for, major anxiety and depression, not to mention more financial woes than I care to mention. I also have my next hip replacement surgery next week. Whew! I call 2011, the year of repairs! Hopefully 2012 will bring much anticipated happiness, or at a little more peace.

I'm young, and the holidays aren't the same. I don't like being dragged everywhere, on every vacation, not getting to spend a second for myself. I need to give myself sleeping medicine so I can sleep through everything. I really don't like christmas anymore, and I should, I'm still young enough to look forward to it. This year has suck, for everyone,.

Hi Em,

I wasn't feeling too much in the spirit, so I invited three kids (one friend for each of mine) over and we made and decorated cookies. Nothing like the smell of cookies and sprinkles everywhere!!! The kids all played and mostly got along and it was just fun.

Is Lily getting a dollhouse for Christmas? My oldest daughter got one from Santa when she was about Lily's age - she loved it, she still decorates it for Christmas... She named the family - Mom, Dad, Emily and Henry.
